COVID-19 INDUSTRY UPDATE: Letter to Hon Stuart Nash

09 February 2022

Now that parliament has resumed, we have yesterday written to Hon Stuart Nash (Minister for Economic and Regional Development, Tourism Minister and Minister for Small Business) in a continuation of our correspondence from 2021. In this latest letter we have addressed:

  1. The impact of the ‘Red Setting’ under the Covid-19 Protective Framework (CPF) on the NZ events sector
  2. The urgent need for targeted financial support given the impact of the current Omicron outbreak and uncertainty presented by the current CPF Red setting
  3. The need for an Associate Minister to “be the voice” of the wider events sector

You can view the full letter here. We will keep you updated on Minister Nash's response.
