COVID-19 is top of mind for many of us as the World Health Organisation declared the global crisis a pandemic yesterday. The New Zealand events sector has started to see the impact with cancellations and postponements of events, yet we are still unsure at this stage where COVID-19 will take our industry.
NZEA is working closely with central government in order to assess the situation and what kind of sector support may be required.
In that regard, we'd appreciate a few minutes of your time to complete this survey so we can get a sense of COVID-19's impact on the events sector to date and share these insights with the government.
